Technical Oscar for Lustre

This year the Academy awarded a Scientific and Enigneering Award® to Mark Jaszberenyi, Gyula Priskin and Tamas Perlaki for their contributions to the development of the Lustre color correction system, which enables real-time digital manipulation of motion picture imagery during the digital intermediate process.

At the ceremony in Beverly Hills the awardees demonstrated the creative features of Lustre amongst others with the "How to Paint Clouds in Lustre" Clip by Ivar Beer,beta version tester at CinePostproduction. A video clip from the ceremony you'll find here
