Two re-recording mixer of CinePostproduction nominated for 2010 German film award

Munich, 19 March 2010: Chief re-recording mixer Michael Kranz and re-recording mixer Ben Rosenkind have been nominated for the 2010 German film award in the “Best Sound” category for Bully Herbig’s VICKY THE VIKING. Michael Kranz, who received the German film award in 2007 for mixing Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, has additionally obtained a nomination for sound mixing of THE POPE by Sönke Wortmann.

The nominations in 16 prize categories were announced today by Bernd Neumann and the new presidents of German Film Academy, Iris Berben and Bruno Ganz: For MEN IN THE CITY(DoP: Jo Heim, Colorist: Tina Falke), which is the new feature film of the producers Wiedemann & Berg (Oscar-winner THE LIVES OF THE OTHERS) and the Concorde/Clasart production VISION by Margarethe von Trotta (DoP: Axel Block, Colorist: Meike Weimann) CinePostproduction provided the full range of postproduction services, including digital Intermediate and sound.
